# Classify a LiDAR point cloud in the cloud, paying per job

> Upload a .las or .laz point cloud and receive it classified, with the terrain model, the surface model and contours. The price is per million points and is shown before the run starts.

## What every LiDAR job delivers

- The cloud classified: ground, vegetation, buildings and vehicles
- A bare-earth terrain model (DTM) and a full surface model (DSM)
- Contours at an interval fitted to the site's own relief
- A top-down orthophoto from the cloud's own colour
- COPC for the viewer, and LAS or LAZ for your own tools

## Power lines, poles and fences

A deep-learning classifier is available for scenes that have to be right. It adds the finer classes the standard one does not have: power lines, poles, fences and vehicles. On a benchmark scene scored point by point against a hand-checked reference it reached 95.6% whole-scene accuracy and 83% on buildings.

## What it costs

Classifying the ground of a point cloud costs US$0.35 to US$0.50 per million points (US$5 for 10 million, US$175 for 500 million); AI scene classes, terrain models and the orthophoto add US$0.10 to US$0.15 per million each. A drone LiDAR flight has 1 to 3 million points per hectare, so the ground pass is about US$0.35 to US$1.50 per hectare.

Two runs each calendar month are free, and a cloud of up to 20 million points with the standard classifier can be one of them. There is no annual licence.

## Correct the result yourself

No classifier is right about every point. ODMDisplay, the desktop application, opens the whole classified cloud on your own computer, where you hide classes, correct points with a brush or a polygon, and save the edit.

## Common questions

### Which files can I upload?

Point clouds in .las or .laz.

### Does it classify power lines?

Yes, with the deep-learning classifier, which also labels poles, fences and vehicles. The standard classifier labels ground, vegetation, buildings and vehicles.

### Do I need a graphics card?

No. The classification runs on our machines; you upload the cloud from any computer.
